I'm tired

I'm tired. Tired of all the business of music. Church music. I'm tired have doing it and not getting compensated. A few months ago my home church decided not to pay their musicians who do Worship. It is our livelihood. Playing is how we pay our bills, feed our families and donate to the church., But the powers that be at Bethany Church decided to stop paying the musicians. No one else was told they would not get paid. i was told we were all volunteering to do this. No one talked to me. I was told it was for a few month only. I said fine. Now 6 months later ..no pay. I have no problems playing for free. For the last 6 years I did play with no compensation at churches around So Ca. I went in knowing I was not going to be paid. I was paid at Bethany. They asked me to play and I was going to be paid. Now, they have no money. They still spend money like they do. I love to sit at the piano and ply. Play for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That why I play. For Him and only Him.

Well, It's Augugst already. It seems the older I get, the faster time goes.
I had two Dr appts yeasterday. I realized that Im not going to let Diabetes get to me. For the last 25 years, I have let it get to me. Not anymore! I'm gonna beat this bastard. I will BEAT IT!!!!

Music is going good. I started to write some secular songs. Things I had to get out of me.

Worship on Sundays I love. I love to play the piano, guitar and mandolin. What a joy it is to play for my Lord and Savior. In fact I play everyday for HIM. To Worship HIM is awesome. I do it every minute of everyday of the week. And everyday I ask him for forgiveness. I fail everyday and I sin everyday. See...i need Jesus in my life.

Well, tonight was the last night for my playing music for the kids at Bethany church in West Covina. that is until Sept. Ii has been a blast. The kids are wonderful.

Hello. Im getting this pc thing down. I do need to work on it more though.

My daughter got married this last March 21st. It was as a lovely day as lovely a bride she was. I didn't cry. i am so proud of her. She has become a great wonderful young lady. Jow is one lucky guy.

I'm no-longer with the band RV320. Its best for me to leave. It was God's doing me leaving.

A few weeks ago, My baby, Sarah Miriah Rios, became a wife. What a beautiful day it was. She was so lovely and beautiful. Many family and friends were there to share this special day. I was truly blessed.

Sunday Mornings @ Bethany

I love Sunday mornings. I get to go to my family's home church and play piano in the Worship band. After 15 years of praying and 6 years of playing at other churches around So Calif, the Lord brought me home.
